”Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.”
A vegan diet is one that consists of only plant-derived foods. Vegans don't use or consume any animals or animal products (land or sea animals), including meat, hide, bone, milk, eggs, or honey.
So what do vegans eat?
You'd be surprised- there is a whole world of exciting foods to be explored. With incredibly diverse flavours made up of fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, seeds, beans and pulses, not only can all your favourite things, from cookies to pizzas be made suitable for a vegan diet, but your knowledge of all the possibilities for new favourite dishes is sure to expand. Your creativity and curiosity will grow as you realise the endless combinations that will leave you wanting more.
It's not just the same old meat and potatoes.
Food served at The Field will be Vegan, and you will be able to learn how to make all of the served dishes should you wish.
If you're not ready for the leap to Vegan Food - and/or you'd rather make your own food, there are of course cooking facilities available for you.
With compassion, environmentalism, sustainability and health being key reasons to become a vegan, it is a lifestyle that can have a positive effect not only on one's well being, but on the world around us. Animal products are found in places you'd never think they would be. However, as awareness becomes more mainstream, the availability of vegan products such as clothing, accessories, bathroom products, etc. becomes more readily available.
